Tri An Hydropower Plant 400MW Dong Nai, Vietnam

Tri An hydropower plant is built on Dong Nai river, flows through Vinh Cuu district, Dong Nai province, 65 km northeast of Ho Chi Minh City.

The plant was built with the financial and technological support of the Soviet Union since 1984, generating unit 1 on 30/4/1988 and inaugurated in 1991.

The hydroelectric plant is built with a total installed capacity of 4 units × 100 MW = 400 MW, annual electricity output of 1.76 billion kWh. This is the EVN owner project.
