Long Phu 1 Thermal Power Plant is a project with a capacity of 1,200MW, including 2 units, located in Long Phu Power Center, using traditional condensing thermal power technology, supercritical parameter boiler. Imported coal burning is a technology that has been widely applied in the world.
The plant is applied with modern technology, high capacity, efficiency, reasonable costs and ensure the requirements of environmental protection in accordance with Vietnamese and international standards. When completed, the plant annually supplies electricity to the system about 7.8 billion kWh.
