Ahmad Yani International Airport is an airport serving the city of Semarang, in Central Java, Indonesia. The airport is named in honor of Ahmad Yani, a national hero of Indonesia. It is one of the fastest growing airports in the world by the number of passengers. It became an international airport with Garuda Indonesia's first flight to Singapore in August 2004.

On June 17, 2014, groundbreaking was done to build a new terminal for the airport.
On June 6, 2018, the new terminal was opened to the public. This is the first floating terminal in Indonesia, with an area of ​​58,652 square meters, nearly 10 times larger than the old station. After the new terminal was opened, the old terminal was returned to the army. The new terminal was also equipped with six jet bridges.
