Thi Vai - Cai Mep Port – Vung Tau, Viet Nam

       

 

Thi Vai - Cai Mep Port is a cluster of deep sea ports in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, at the mouth of Thi Vai and Cai Mep Rivers. Cai Mep International Port (Phu My town) is designed to receive containerships of up to 80,000 DWT with a throughput of 600,000-700,000 TEUs per year. The berth length is 600 m with a total area of up to 48 hectares. Thi Vai Port is also capable of receiving general cargo ships with a tonnage of up to 75,000 DWT. Capacity through the port reaches 1.6-2 million tons per year. The total area of the port is 27 hectares.

According to the plan, Thi Vai - Cai Mep port will be connected to industrial zones in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Dong Nai and other provinces by provincial road 965 and national highway 51. The port is capable of receiving ships. tonnage of 50,000 - 80,000 DWT.
